Vintage Zanverdiani Grump German Doll Venice Italy 1990’s fancy reproduction

Grump Porcelain Sad Girl Doll of 1910 exquisite reproduction by Zanverdiani Creation of Venice, Italy (made in the 1990’s). This is a detailed facsimile of the famous sad girl pre-World War 1 wonderful German Grump Company lifelike aristocratic little sad girl doll with fancy lace layered dress and leggings, real leather shoes with gold button clasp, glass and freshwater pearl earrings, Shirley Temple frizzy light brown hair (before Shirley Temple’s time), layered and curled hair treatment, and flowers and ribbon in her hair. Deep blue eyes, blushed and puffy cheeks, natural lips, eyelashes and eyebrows. Slightly puffy hands, just like a Gump doll had. Behind neck is the Zanverdiani (FL Z) raised stamp (which is rarer than the red writing stamp on later dolls). 14” tall, 9” wide at hand to hand, dress hem at bottom has 9” flair, feet are 1.75” long. Dress is light pink, slightly faded by time. Perfect shape, unused and stored in collection cabinet standing on original metal stand. Tag.
